A warm welcome from Mayor Brandon Johnson to the Founder

We're excited to share purpose and the passion that's pouring into planning the Inaugural House Music Parade and Playground Reunion Block Party to commemorate the 40th anniversary of House Music.  On behalf of the House Music committee, volunteers and members of the House Music Museum and Hall of Fame Foundation, we would like to invite International and local groups who represents all aspects of the House Music community, including DJs, Artist, Singers, Producers, Promotors, Marching Bands, Dance Groups, Choral Groups, Area Businesses, the Gospel Community, and Civic Groups to bring exhilarating excitement to our visitors while making this event a spectacular celebration for House Heads worldwide during the music's 40-year milestone.

THE PARADE TIME STARTS AT 10:00AM....LABOR DAY WEEKEND (SATURDAY - AUG. 31ST 2024)

THE PARADE ROUTE is in the South Loop area, traveling down part of the Historical House Music District, Stepping Off at 23rd and Michigan ave, going southbound, turning on 26th to go to Calumet. The free Playground Reunion Block Party begins 12noon, location 27th thru 29th and Calumet.
